Rare Autoimmune Disease Patient Feasibility Study

Qualitative IDI Healthcare HIPAA Rare Disease

The Challenge

A multinational biopharmaceutical company needed to recruit rare autoimmune disease patients for a drug efficacy feasibility study. The incidence rate was extremely low (less than 0.25%), requiring validated doctor referrals and medical records matching.

Our Approach

We structured a qualitative recruitment pipeline combining oncologist/rheumatologist KOL networks and specialized patient support community partnerships. Data was managed via HIPAA-compliant vault architecture.

Results

Successfully identified, screened, and recruited 250 patients globally. Verified 100% of participants against clinical health records.

Client Outcome

The pharmaceutical client successfully determined drug formulation feasibility using verified patient responses, transitioning the study directly to clinical trials.
