Anti-Fraud Quantitative Study on Mobile Banking Users

CAWI SIDAC IP Reputation Canvas Fingerprinting BFSI

The Challenge

An APAC retail bank required rapid survey data from 4,000 active mobile banking app users to evaluate security trust. The survey was highly targeted by automated click-farms and survey bots attempting to bypass standard geofencing and capture incentives.

Our Approach

We deployed our SIDAC anti-fraud engine during a quantitative CAWI survey. Implemented canvas fingerprinting, real-time device reputation checks, and active IP validation to filter bot entries.

Results

Filtered out 1,420 bot attempts in real-time. Achieved 4,000 fully validated survey responses with zero fraud trace. Delivered the clean dataset in 10 business days.

Client Outcome

The bank obtained authenticated user metrics to successfully refine their security compliance workflows. The fraud deviation rate remained under 0.08%.
